The 2009 NBA all-star ballot is open. The all-star game will be held in Phoenix. Some of these NBA players will be probably grantued All-star spots like Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, Kevin Garnett, Chris Paul. Some of the surpurise are probably going to be Kevin Durant, Andre Iquodala, Elton Brand and etc. This could be one of the best all-star game in many years, because of all the young talant in this all-star game.

Blog of Week 10/22/08 Top Five NBA teams in Eastern Confrence

The top five teams in the east this year are supposed to be:
1 - Celtics - becuase there the champs there the best team in the legue, they also got there big three Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, and Paul Peirce.
2 - Philadelphia 76ers - They clearly going to be the second best team in the East this year, because they got alot of young guys getting better like Thaudus Young. Also they got a key pick up this year in the offseason by picking up Elton Brand.
3 - Detroit Pistons - They are going to be the thrid best team in the East this year or maybe even the second best team this year because they didn't want Flip Saunders and now he is gone. So they got to be happy about that and also they got the up and coming young star Rodney Stuckey, who helped them alot in the postseason last year.
4 - Cleveland Cavaliers - The Cavs will be the fourth best team this year in the East because they still got the King Lebron James, and he is only getting better. Also he has a better supporting cast this year with Mo Williams.
5 - Orlando Magic - The Magic should be in the top 5 this year because they won 52 games last year but we don't think it will happen this year but it could, because the young beast Dwight Howard is getting more domiant day by day and Hedo Turkoglu played great last year. Don't forget that they still got Ray Lew Rashard Lewis who is one hell of a player.

4. 7'0 PF Dirk Nowitzki Dallas Mavariks

5. 6'8 SG Tracy Macgrady Houstan Rockets

These are supposed to be the best players this year but changes could happen. They are the players that are supposed to be the best players in the NBA this year. Lebron and Kobe are probably going to be the best two and will be playing for the MVP award also Chris Paul probably would be in the race too.

NBA player Movement 2008

Alot have player movement has happened in the NBA in the offseason. A few like the Rockets getting Ron Artest, and the Heat pick up Saun Livingston and the Clippers landing Baron Davis. Alot of these pick up help team like the Houstan Rockets getting Ron Artest, it will help them alot because now they will have a proven scorers in Artest who averaged 18.1 points (.419 FG%, .333 3pt%, .733 FT%) for the Kings in two years, also 6 rebonds a game. They only gave up Donte Greene and Bobby Jackson, Greene who hasn't proven himself in the NBA yet and Jackson who's career is coming to a close. I give that trade a B+ because one thing you have to worry about is Ron's attutude and what he does off the court. He has had problems over the years.Shaun Livingston is a great pick up for the Heat. Now they get a good point gaurd, but the injury could have affected his career. But some good things about him is that he is a one of the great player to come out of a draft in a few years. He has a amazing body for point gaurd he is 6'7 185 pounds. So if Livingston stays healthy he will be a scare for other teams.Baron Davis is a nice pick up for the Los Angles Clippers who are trying to make a run in the Wild, Wild West. Davis who played for Golden State last season. Davis who averaged averaged 21.8 points and 7.6 assist a game. He is a 2-time NBA All-Star. The Clipper probably got the best pick up in off season this year.Those are some of the key player movements in the NBA.
